Your account and registration

The app stores your verified email, display name, academic year, branch, college, enrollment/reference where supplied, booking and session records. Google and email-code sign-in resolve to the same account when the provider-verified email matches. Session tokens and email codes are protected server-side; production email codes are not displayed in the app.

Your Gemini key

You provide your own key. It is encrypted temporarily in separate active storage, bound to your account and slot, and never displayed again or included in organizer submission exports. You can remove or replace it from your dashboard or workspace. Your key is used only for your AI calls to Google. Format is checked at entry; Google access is checked when you make a request.

The app deletes the active stored key when your attempt ends, when you remove it, or within 30 days at the latest. A key used by an in-flight provider request cannot cancel that request. Removing it here does not revoke it at Google; you can also revoke it in Google AI Studio.

Historical encrypted copies can remain in the hosting provider’s recovery backups for its retention period. The organizer must confirm the deployed retention/access policy before the event opens. Do not interpret active-store deletion as instant erasure from all platform backups.

Code, prompts and review

The server stores accepted file snapshots, your explanation, submission receipt, AI requests and proposals, usage accounting, and relevant activity for authorized review. The AI request includes challenge instructions, your active file and any additional context you select. These are sent to Google under your own project quota and billing, if enabled. Avoid including unrelated personal data or secrets in your project or prompts.

A local browser recovery copy may retain unsynced files where storage is available. Only server-accepted revisions count as submitted work. You can download your local recovery copy.

Fairness and results

The app records limited assessment activity such as fullscreen exits and hidden-tab events. It does not continuously record your camera. Signals prompt organizer review, not automatic disqualification. Authorized reviewers can inspect relevant submission evidence. After owner release you see your own approved feedback; only the approved top three are shared publicly.

Contact and retention requests

Contact the event organizer through the chapter’s published event communication channel for account, eligibility, retention or recovery questions. A verified event support address has not yet been configured in this checkout. The final deployed organizer/privacy details must be published before collecting event registrations.
